Trade Terms & Process| Buying Bubble Tea Ingredients from Taiwan

Clear trade terms are the foundation of a long-term bubble tea ingredient partnership.

In international bubble tea ingredient deals, the real risk rarely comes from the product itself. It comes from unclear specifications, undefined responsibilities, vague payment terms, and logistics or customs steps that were never confirmed.

For bubble tea ingredient purchasing, distribution、OEM / ODM、International Sourcing Agentandtriangular trade, Tang Sugar has clear and verifiable trade terms, so partners know the specifications, payment method, lead time, Incoterms, transfer of risk and after-sales process before they place an order.

A stable supply chain is not just about shipping goods. Every deal needs a clear basis, defined responsibilities and a process that works for the long term.

Trade Rules

Seven trade rules

Quotes, specifications, payment, lead time and inspection: open each rule for the full explanation.

01Quotations & Order ConfirmationA formal written quote is the basis of the deal ・ Quotes have a validity period ・ The deal is made once both sides confirm in writing

Every order is based on a formal written quotation confirmed by both parties.

Our formal quotation lists the product name, specifications, packaging, quantity, unit price, currency, exchange rate, estimated lead time, Incoterms and any other necessary charges.

Because bubble tea ingredients, syrups, tea bases, powders and packaging are affected by raw material prices, exchange rates, freight rates and supply conditions, every quotation has a validity period. After it expires, price and lead time are reconfirmed based on current conditions.

Once both parties confirm the quotation in writing, the terms are agreed. Verbal promises, informal messages or preliminary chats on messaging apps do not form an order.

02Specifications & Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)Specifications and MOQ set per item ・ Product specifications provided before purchase ・ Custom products have their own MOQ

To keep quality and batches consistent and supply reliable, every product has defined specifications and a minimum order quantity.

For each product we can provide specifications, packaging, storage conditions, suggested uses and other details, so brand owners, shop operators, overseas distributors and importers can confirm the product fits their needs before ordering.

MOQ varies with product type, order volume, packaging, customization, OEM / ODM development and supply conditions.

For custom products such as exclusive formulas, branded packaging, specific specifications, special flavors or market projects, we confirm production feasibility, development cost, testing, lead time and destination food safety rules first, and agree a dedicated MOQ and terms.

03Payment TermsDeposit plus balance ・ Payment per shipment batch ・ International trades paid by the agreed currency and method

We set out clear, transparent payment milestones based on the cooperation model, order size and terms.

Common options are a deposit with the balance before shipment, full payment before production is scheduled, or batch shipments with batch payments under a long-term contract. Actual terms follow the confirmed quotation, order and cooperation model.

International orders can be settled in an agreed currency such as USD. If currency conversion is involved, the calculation is explained before the quotation or order is confirmed.

All payment terms are written out before confirmation, keeping finances transparent and reducing later disputes.

04Lead Time & ShippingDomestic orders ship on the confirmed date ・ International orders depend on logistics and destination ・ Handover point follows the agreed Incoterm

We value reliable supply. When an order is confirmed, we give an estimated lead time based on the products, stock, order volume, customization and logistics.

Domestic orders are delivered to the agreed location on the confirmed schedule.

International orders are planned around product type, port of loading, sailing or flight schedules, destination port, customs conditions, local regulations and logistics. Force majeure, port congestion, schedule delays, customs inspections, natural disasters, war, strikes or other factors beyond our control may change the actual lead time, and we will keep you updated on the shipment.

Shipping responsibility and transfer of risk follow the Incoterms 2020 rule agreed by both parties.

05International Trade & IncotermsDelivery terms and handover points clearly agreed ・ Required trade and shipping documents provided ・ Cross-border risk reduced

In international bubble tea ingredient trade, Incoterms are more than quotation jargon. They decide cost structure, risk allocation, logistics, insurance and customs responsibilities.

Depending on your market, order size, transport mode and import capability, we can advise on EXW, FCA, FOB, CFR, CIF, CPT, CIP, DAP or DDP, helping distributors, brand owners, importers and shop owners choose what fits their business.

06Triangular TradeLawful, compliant operations ・ Clear documents and logistics ・ Handover points agreed in advance

For cross-border sourcing, distribution and overseas market supply, Tang Sugar can help assess a triangular trade arrangement.

In triangular trade, the seller, the supplier and the final market may be in different countries, and the deal is completed through clear contracts, documents, logistics and payment arrangements.

It is common for international brands, ingredient supply, OEM / ODM, overseas distribution and multi-market sourcing. We help confirm the shipping route, commercial documents, responsibilities, payment arrangements and compliance.

Before starting, both sides confirm the flow of goods, invoicing, payee, customs data, destination requirements and responsibilities, so the process stays compliant and risk is reduced.

07Receiving, Issues & DisputesInspect within the agreed time after arrival ・ Report any issue promptly with evidence ・ Resolved according to the confirmed situation

To protect both sides, we have a clear receiving and issue-handling process.

When goods arrive, please check items, specifications, quantity and carton condition within the agreed period. If you find damaged cartons, short quantities, product issues or quality concerns, notify us right away with supporting evidence.

Helpful evidence includes an unboxing video, product and carton photos, batch numbers, receiving records and shipping documents, so responsibility and next steps can be confirmed quickly.

Once responsibility is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement, discount, return or other reasonable solution according to the situation and agreed terms.
